Far away,
lost in time
There is a dream
I often have
about a place
I sense inside
far away, lost in mind
Some years ago
or so it seemed
my path crisscrossed
on many hills
young mountain peaks
I did caress
Yet I feel
there should be more
a clear, blue pool
reflecting all
a crystal bowl
that holds a truth
To search inside
to make some sense
to clear my mind
of all nonsense
I hear a voice
that won’t disturb
A quiet pool
so cool, so still
mirroring all
that’s held so dear
yet one small pebble
can destroy
a noble dream
a yearning fellow
